Compassion took flight at Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport (FXE) on Saturday, November 15, 2025, for the 7th annual Uptown 5K on the Runway. Trustbridge Hospice Foundation and FXE invited community members of all ages to participate in a 5K fun run/walk on the FXE runway, where people, not planes, took off from the runway.
The event celebrated Aviation, the Uptown community and Compassion Towards Others.
All proceeds benefited Trustbridge Hospice Foundation.
